The LDS Church in Apostasy?

The accepted historical narrative of the LDS Church doesn't line up with the actual history.  The modern church is drastically different from the one founded by Joseph Smith almost 200 years ago.  That shouldn’t necessarily be seen as a good thing or as evidence of progress and an “ongoing restoration.”  It is evidence of apostasy.  The falling away from the truth.  I believe that Christ is mindful of the LDS Church despite it being under condemnation and rejection.  Because that’s the more accurate history of the restored church, that of condemnation and chastening rather than solely that of blessings and divine favor.

There has not been an unbroken line of succession of prophets, seers and revelators up to our current day. That started and ended with Joseph.  He was the last legitimate mouthpiece. Doctrines and ordinances have been changed without scriptural and revelatory justification. And the watchmen became slothful and allowed the enemy to break down the hedge and then the olive trees as well. This is a problem because how do we accept that we have inherited a true and living branch when the roots are nearly decayed? The corporate church, with all of its policies and dogma, has become the gatekeeper for those who desire to become or remain a part of the spiritual body of Christ by following the direction of the Spirit they personally receive instead requiring that they submit to the requirements of the corporation to enjoy spiritual blessings.

What follows in this book is evidence that the early restored church rejected the fullness of the gospel that Joseph Smith restored resulting in the church wandering around in a spiritual wilderness for the last four generations with the merciful promise of a final heavenly restoration of the fullness through a marvelous work and a wonder ushering in the dispensation of the fullness of times culminating in the redemption of Zion and the second coming of Jesus Christ.  This should cause us to think and to ask our own questions and to increase our faith in Jesus Christ and His eternal gospel.

Please read and share this book, If They Shall Reject the Fulness of My Gospel... If your faith is wavering and you find yourself in a state of confusion, you're not alone. I hope that this will help you find some answers. Thank you!
